i have had too much problem with my dried hair lately, wow no the last few years. I have lost a huge amount of hairs, really, my hairs used to be shiny and voluminous.

i haven`t old you you guys  mylittle anecdote when i went the hairdresser prior coming to France. My hairdresser was intimated by my balais-like and mega knots hair and try to convince me to get a hair treatment. I wasn`t really preoccupied with the health of my hair back then, but the recent chute of hair me fait des angoisse.

I don`t like to dry my hair with a hairdryer, i usually let them dry naturally. My old routine of shampoo consists of the new collectin of John Freda i love the fresh hint of mint in that conditioner. Lately i have been exposed to many French ads, one of the hair products that runs regularly was the L’oréale Elsèsve. I am interested in the slogan of the product, 5 problème 1 solution. I admit i am not a fan of Oréal product, but i think they really did really well marketing to different type of hair clientele, is very niche oriented. I am using this one called Elsève color vive, so far so good. My hair chut seems to cease a little, but i know i need a hair treatment when i get back home.

O, i am listening to rock détente now, for once i get to admire christmas songs in silence not in a mall. haha

Beside advertising for L’oreale, I think their website is pretty well done too: user friendly and straight to the point. i am gonna share with you guys an ad that i found ridiculous which run pretty often on tv.

Yes it is the  Eau de toilette, La Parisienne by Yves Saint-Laurent. So are they advertising that the smell will make you have organsm or sth. The concept is bold but at least pay someone that has voluminious body and not Kate moss come on!

The description is indeed very biased and ambiguous e.i ” Paris adopts her” I really like the metamorphose of the word here.

It did intrigue me to try it out for a sniff, though i know i am not gonna like the smell of sandalwood.

Too much to think about, futur, daniel and myself.sometime i dont know what to feel, and what to expect.
My by friend said that i am very eccentric, i agreed with him, i am spontaneous. What happened recently really gave me headach and start to doubt about my feeling toward him. Why after two years, our relationship is still unbalanced, is it me or is it him or is it both of us.

Work is inspiring; i start to develop my own design, not the most fascinating product on earth,  at least i am not modifying ppl`s design (jaime pas fait ça). All being said,  i have to design a chart for a  boucherie. ya, a butcher shop, all they sell is raw meat.  now, I have to overcome with my own disgust of the saiglant picture.  And come up with an eye pleasing and functional design. That’s the most challenging part. I love it. Secondly, by forcing to work in photoshop (my inner enemy of illustrator) and asking question to Steph, I gain my fluency working in psd. Alas, cant wait to see the final result. All i lack is being efficient, took me a day to design a nice background and place the logo. God! que je suis lente.

My stay in Lyon was the most adventurous so far.

In short, because of the fete des lumieres, the transportation services all got canceled; tram and some metro lines. The stupid University called INSA LYOn,  in villeurban (so Harry potter feel , was incroyablement far from the metro station. I waited for a hour and still no bus. So obvisouly, i miss my train and i got to stay one more night in LYon. I anticipate that all the hotel was fully booked that day, because of the annual fete des lumieres, million of people come to this city just for that event. So i planned to stay the night in La salle d’attendre. till next morning. However, I tempted to ask to the hotel next to the train station and find out that there one vacant room which people canceled in the last minute. Hurray! I finish the booking in the front desk and wait straight to my room. It was a ugly hotel, but, i say BUT, better than hostel, you know how much i dislike staying in hostel. despite its price. I rather pay more and spend my night comfortably. I have this picky, sanitory criteria for places i stay overnight. People like me, who lack of budget  usually stay in hostel but really, i can`t stand hostels my friend. C pas cher, mais c la merde…..:(

Okay enough of hostel and hotel, the point of going to Lyon was to write my Japanese test. level 3. Since i failed last year`s one by a few points. I decided to retake it again. It was weird because I gained my fluency in listening comprehension and grammar, but since i was so sure i know all the vocabulary and Kanji, i kinda missed some. disppointed of myself. but anyhow, I understood 90% of the listening comprehension, i was pretty happy. I can recall  from last year, i had absolutely no clue what they were playing in the tape. like 60%. Again, i have to emphasize the hours of practice listening exercise back home, and in here, every night i would do 5 to 10 exerises. I am happy, cuz it paid off la misère que j’ai eu.

All right, the report ends here. I will write more about my discovery in Lyon in the future.
It was a pretty interesting experience afterall.

i think it’s because i have more time thinking now, i focus on thinking about my futur. Back home, i was too preoccupied thinking on what i don`t have and blame here and there, I annoyed myself too. Jenny, my friend from cegep, even found me talk less compare to the time we knew each from Vanier.

I have this mélancolique feeling around me, i think thats the cause why i lost so many hair lately, c’est effrayante! Just that i think there is so many things going around in our life and most of events or happening go beyond my control. This period of adaptation and searching drive me crazy.

Being here, in France, i have more space to think what i want to pursue and what i cheerish the most.

didn’t want to take the breakfast this morning so I went to a Café near b y.

This breakfast cost me 10.30 euro. Got Ripped off. Omelette was burned. Didn’t finish the salad because I am not a fans of salad. Service was poor, good thing that we don’t tip in France because it’s included. The Carafe d’eau and bread is included. By the way le café crème is equivalent of a latte which is the basic drink in restaurant because there is no filter coffee.

_ I should start appreciate my surrounding instead of complaining it. Like the metro system.

_by the way, the ticket from Paris to Aurillac was 71.20 euro. Yes, it’s $$$$

_ Cars in France are very cute. Like the Japanese.

_ I should sleep because It’s getting late.

_ Both my apartment and workplace ae located in downtown Aurillac. There is a cinema face to it.

Bon ben ça y est, je suis arrivée au Aurillac ce soir, intact, bien vivante! Je suis partie de la Gare Austerliz de Paris à deux heures et ensuite faire mon changement de train à Brive la Gaillard. À mon arrivée, Jacques Partenaude, mon boss, m’as pick up au Gare et m’amener dans mon apartement. J’ai toujours pensé que je partagerai une apartement avec mon co-worker. J’étais surprise que je habiterai toute seule pour trios mois, ce qui veut dire c’est maz première experience de vivre en aparte seule! Je suis excitée et peur en même temps.  Je peux vivre finalment sans le tyrannie de mes parents, mais j’ai peur de la solitude.

De bonne côté, c’est seulement trios mois, il va passer vite puis je suis sure ça sera une experience inoubliable.

Voici les obstacles que je envisionne à franchir pendant ce trios mois:

-Utilisation de Français en tout temps,
- Faire la bouffe

J’ai pas d’internet ni téléphone en ce moment, mais j’ai un télé pis une cuisine parfaitement équipée.
Des découverts en France

-         Ils utilisent du gaz pour cuisiner.

-         Chauffage élétrique.

I think I’m gonna lose weight…because I really don’t know how to cook. It’s a good opportunity.

I am not very excited leaving Daniel but I am thrilled getting my ass off of Montreal. I got my boarding pass very early at 2 and board @ 630. The damn boarding gate number was changed so I thought I missed my fly. Anyhow, I find the gate and waited to take off.

i`m thinking while i sleeping;
i`m thinking while i`m working;
i`m thinking what should i do next after my stage.

people say enjoy and embrace the present.
yes, i am doing it everyday.
though, thinking what to do next preoccupies the present too.

i`m not worry, or  fear.
i `m just planning.
Returning to montreal means i have to face my parents again. Drama!
Going back to asia, undetermined spot yet. means challenge; it`s something i always wanted to do after graduation.

BONJOURRRRRRR!
The first day was a bit overwhelming; the metro system here  is really really really really all over the map . 14 lines. I got help finding ways from a gentleman sitting next to me in the airplane. We took the train from the CDG airport to the city. The metro is a real maze, I got lost several times, I had to drag my luggage from stair  to stair, (back pain:(  there is no elevator whatsoever. Only inthe main lines. People are very friendly, i have no problem communicating in French. Went to Musee Louvre on the first day and walk around, get to know the places.

Met my cegep friend Jenny on day two, she has worked in Paris for a year, so she knows the touristic places inside out.  She show me lots of places. Went to Opera, tour Eiffel, Champ Elysee, Galerie Lafayette…I write another blog about the funny things happen that day.

Today, I’m leaving to Aurillac at 2. I’ll going to get myself a nice breakfast in a mall near by. they open at 10 and close at 7 in weekend.

Still think i’m dreaming can’t believe i’m in Paris now!!!
